Julia-roberts
Julia Fiona Roberts' parents are Walter Grady Roberts and Betty Lou Bredemus. Roberts is part of the fourth generation of Robertses to reside in the Atlanta region, beginning with her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts a farmer. Her father was enthusiastic about theatre from a very young age. He acted on the Emory University campus in 1952 as well as in various productions around Atlanta. When he joined the Air Force and appearing in an air force production in Biloxi together with Betty Lou Bredemus. In 1955, the couple got married and, in 1956, their child Eric Anthony was born. Walter was enrolled in Tulane University, New Orleans Louisiana. In 1957 they were discharged from the air force and Walter started his education at Tulane University. Walter was employed by Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio to assist on the stage of the television show Bum Bum His Buddies. The show was filmed in Decatur Georgia. Walter as well as Betty Lou financed their own production of the local children's Sunday matinee show called Bum Bum and His Buddies. They also founded a six-year Actors and Writers Workshop later that same year. In the meantime, they also had two children Lelisa (called Lisa) Billingsley in 1965 as well as Julia (called Julie) in 1967.
