Sofia Pernas is a Moroccan actress, born and brought up at home in Orange County. At the age of 5 she left Morocco for California. The actress got her first taste of acting in 2015. In the same year, Sofia Pernas received her degree from the University of California San Diego. Pernas played small roles in NCIS as well as Leverage. She then landed the part of Marisa at The Young and the Restless. After leaving soap opera in 2016 the actress scored an appearance on Jane the Virgin as Catalina. The actress who is multi-lingual has appeared on The Brave, The Green Ghost as well as Secret Society of Second Born Royals. Then, in Blood & Treasure, from 2019 until 2020 she portrayed Lexi Vaziri. Us Weekly reported in May 2020 that Pernas was in a relationship with Justin Hartley from The Young and the Restless. This romance began in May 2020 after Pernas divorced from her spouse Chrishell Stause. In May 2021, the news broke that Pernas Hartley had recently married in private.
