LeBron Raymone James Sr., born 30th December 1984, is an American professional basket ball player for the Los Angeles Lakers (NBA). He is known as King James he is widely considered one of the greatest basketball players ever and is frequently compared to Michael Jordan in debates over the greatest basketball player in history. James is the winner of 4 NBA titles. He has four NBA MVPs. Four NBA Finals MVPs. Three All-Star MVPs. and two Olympic golds. James has scored the second greatest number of goals in his career and seventh most assists. He has been selected as an NBA All-Star 18 times. In addition to being an NBA All-Star, James was selected as a member of an NBA All-NBA Team on 18 occasions. He was the 3rd player to play in the NBA Finals. Eight of those were consecutive from the year 2011 until 2018. James joined the NBA 75th Anniversary Team in 2021. In 2022, he became the very first NBA player to earn 10,000 career points. James played basketball at St. Vincent St. Mary High School in his home town of Akron Ohio and was heavily advertised by national media as a future NBA star. He was a prep-to pro and selected with the top selection of the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Draft in 2003. Named the 2004 NBA Rookie of the Year, He quickly established himself as one of the league's premier players by winning an NBA MVP Award in 2010 and 2009. James, who was unable to win the championship in Cleveland, in the year 2010, was released as a free agent and signed with in the Miami Heat. This was made clear as part of The Decision. It is one of the most controversial decisions made by a free agent in sports history.
