Sheryl Underwood, an American comedian, host of a TV show and actor best known for hosting The Talk, a popular talk show on daytime. The Talk. Sheryl Underwood was born in Arkansas and raised in Little Rock, Atwater, and Atwater. Sheryl comes out of a very troubled background. Sheryl was raised by her sister Frankie. Frankie had suffered from the disease of Polio. As she grew older, there were many arguments with her mom. Sheryl claims that at one point when her mother stabbed her father after he became close to Her. Sheryl became a military officer after graduating from college. Her passion was comedy. She became the first female winner of the contest Miller Lite Comedy Search held in 1989. Her TV career in 1992 after she became a regular performer on the HBO comedy program Def Comedy Jam. She was a guest in the show Oh Drama! as the host in 2000. Since 2011, she has been appearing as a co-host on the talk show The Talk. She's also appeared in fictional programs like Bulworth Niki and Beauty Shop.
